Ying YUAN, MD, PhD

Dr. Ying Yuan is the Acting Director of the International Medical Center at the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University. She is an Associate Chief Physician, Associate Professor, Associate Researcher, and Master's Supervisor. She holds a PhD in Oncology from the University of Toulouse, France, and was a visiting scholar at Strasbourg University Hospital. Dr. Yuan specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases, including pulmonary infections, COPD, asthma, and lung tumors, with a particular focus on lung cancer diagnosis, standardized treatment, and comprehensive patient management. She is a member of multiple professional organizations, including the Chinese Hospital Association’s International Medical Services Committee, the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association’s Clinical Oncology Research Management Committee, the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO), and the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC). She also serves on various respiratory and oncology committees in Chongqing. Dr. Yuan has led four national and provincial research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation, and four medical education projects. She is the Deputy Leader of the " Respiratory and Cancer Precision Medicine" course in the university’s Sino-foreign clinical medicine program. Recognized as an outstanding educator, she has received multiple teaching awards and has published over 10 peer-reviewed articles in international journals
